Good News, Bad News

Life is balanced. Ying and Yang. Good and Bad. Cumi dan Ciki.

Well, maybe not the last, but in the last week I have experienced extremes:

• Bad news first: My house was broken into. Robbed. Burglarised. Apart from stolen electronics, they also pulled off the grille door (nice of them to leave that behind) and destroyed the back door (a lock's not much use if they hacked it out). At least the babies are safe and my computer data is still in one piece (backups, not the originals even).
  
• Good news next: My intent to write creatively have opened up new avenues. Specifically, ones that pay. Or might pay. I shan't say more before contracts are signed so that I don't jinx it, but there is a wealth of material that I can put up on dzof.org for this, even if the deal(s) fall(s) through.

Apart from that, I am spending a lot of time at The Bookshop this month, so feel free to drop by and browse.
